Winstrol is an injectable anabolic steroid that contains the active substance Stanozolol. This anabol is very popular because it gives athletes lean muscle mass. Winstrol is a derivative of the hormone dehydrotestosterone, but it is not as androgenic.
Winstrol is amongst the most popular Anabolic Steroids known today. Developed by Winthrop Laboratories in the late 1950s, product was at the root of the biggest doping scandals in the history of the sport.
Winstrol popularity in sports circles is due to the fact that it has properties that allow it to increase strength and endurance without gaining weight.
In therapeutic practice, Stanozolol has been used successfully in the fight against various diseases associated with muscle loss, as well as in the case of osteoporosis to prevent bone loss. Winstrol has also been used successfully in patients with severe burns or other serious injuries and fractures.
Winstrol (Stanozolol) is a derivative of the hormone dehydrotestosterone with structural changes that make it lower androgenic and significantly more anabolic.
An interesting fact about Stanozolol is that it exists both as an oral steroid and as an injectable steroid. In both cases, the hormone is the same — Stanozolol, as both forms work equally well and have an identical effect.
Winstrol is certainly not an Anabolic Steroid that is popular as part of muscle mass cycles. Although some athletes may use Stanozolol during a muscle mass cycle, with the idea that it will increase the potency of other drugs, we must keep in mind that Stanozolol is very toxic to the liver and its use should be limited for periods, when indeed its effect will be noticeable.
Stanozolol gives athletes the opportunity to increase strength, explosiveness and endurance without the risk of gaining excess weight. In some circles, the use of Winstrol is thought to have a negative effect on tendons, but a number of studies have shown exactly the opposite dependence when taking the drug.
Some people say that taking Winstrol causes pain and stiffness in the joints. Given the fact that the use of Winstrol is most often advocated with pre-competition diets, at a time when the athlete is already very clean. When you reduce the level of subcutaneous fat significantly, as bodybuilders do before a bodybuilding competition, the appearance of pain and discomfort in the joints is a very real risk with or without the use of Winstrol.
How to use
In sports, the standard dose for men is 25 mg. per day for the oral variant and 50 mg. every other day for injectable Stanozolol. These doses are quite sufficient to achieve good results without a particular risk of side effects. For more serious athletes aiming for maximum results, a dosage of 50 mg. Every day is very popular, with some even reaching 100 mg. per day.
This practice is very popular in the last days before a bodybuilding competition, when some bodybuilders use Winstrol in high doses for a very short period of 7-10 days, for final improvement in fitness.
In women, doses of 5 mg. daily are sufficient and carry a minimal risk of side effects.
Estrogenic: Winstrol does not aromatize at all, which makes the appearance of side effects in this category impossible.
Androgenic: Stanozolol is an anabolic steroid with low androgenic activity, but side effects in this category are possible. Increased hair loss and the appearance of acne are amongst the most common, but are strictly individual and are expressed only in predisposed men.
In women, the use of Winstrol can lead to body hair, increase the size of the clitoris and others. Many women can use the drug without facing these problems, and for this purpose the dose should be low.
Heart problems: Of all the possible side effects associated with the use of Winstrol, those associated with negative changes in cholesterol are the most common.
Liver toxicity: Stanozolol is toxic to the liver and as such, its use has been associated with elevated liver enzymes. To avoid possible risk, the preparation should not exceed 6-8 weeks, and should not be combined with another oral preparation.
Note: Both the oral and injectable forms of Stanozolol are toxic to the liver.
It is recommended that you take Carsil during a cycle with Winstrol.
